rear end

would a 1995 CAMARO/Z28 3.23 POSI fit in my 1985 z28?

yup, but the wheels will stick out right at the edges of the fender well. the 4th gen rears are 2" wider than a third gen 10 bolt.

it'll bolt right up. brake plates will be diff being they went with the PBR design.

4th gen rear swaps are very common, do a search over on TGO and you'll see.

if you can find a complete rear including brakes this would make upgrading a snap. just find a car with disk from 89+ and get the proportioning valve and you will be set. Hawks will have the prop valve needed.

You should try to find a car with the 3.42 gear in it for a just a bit more acceleration.
