What is the size of the stock rearend in a 1984 camaro?

if i'm not mistaken it's a 7.5" rear, somebody please correct me if i'm wrong, but i think 85 was the year they switched to 7.625"

Sounds about right but either way 7 1/2 or 7 5/8 parts are just about interchangable. Look at the rear end gears. They list the same thing for either.
