Ram Jet and hood clearance?
I dunno if many of you have seen a ram jet on a 3rd gen, but its a pretty tall intake and i am wondering if its going to clear or not. It has been bugging the crap out of me i dont wanna get this thing all together and have it smack on the hood.

It looks just a little bit taller than a TPI intake just by looking at the pic...I'm not really sure if it'll clear.
I've heard that the Holley Stealth Ram wont clear under a Camaro hood,but that Ram Jet looks a little shorter than the HSR.
Good Luck w/ your build man,and if it doesnt clear you have to buy a cool aftermarket cowl hood or the Stingray style SS hood...darn.

yea thats ok i want a cool cowel. but just dont wanna shell out the bucks for one right away.
