putting together TPI for 82 Z28

Ok, we're getting ready to get this motor ready and drop it in. Been slowly getting parts located and need some info before we get too far in and have to turn around. First the motor is a 305 HO out of an 84 or 85 truck. Cant remember what year for sure. Far as we know its stock, (cam, heads, etc.) pulled heads and rebuilt them, everything else looked peachy so we put the heads back on. Ran fine before with carb, no oil burning etc. I located a complete intake from an 86, and maybe a wiring harness. We want to go with a complete engine harness if the price is right instead of trying to put one together.... Will the current cam be ok for this intake setup? What computer can we use and how hard is it to switch it to speed density? Also, which fans are best for this application, single/dual? We do want to put A/C back in it as it will be the wifes D/D so what years could we use for all that? Previous owner pretty much removed it back to the firewall. Also does anybody know of a high amp. alternator that'll mount up to the stock brackets? And will the electric pump, etc. mount up to the 82's tank? Any help in any area will be appriciated. Suggestions are welcomed. Shes ready to drive her car and shes been doing most of the work, so help us get her baby goin. You guys usually have the answers we're lookin for. Thanks in advance. ****edit**** We want to try to do away with as much smog equip. as possible as well. Will also be running Hooker headers.
