Post putting in a 305

I work at a salvage yard and they have a 305 just sitting around. I am thinking about putting it in my 88 rs camaro but don't know how much of a hassle it would be or if it is even worth it for just a winter beater. If anyone has done it before any advice would be greatly apreciated.
thanks eric

I figure it really would be worth it since a 305 is stock there wouldn't be much improvement, unless it has some aftermarket parts on it.

The only reason to to switch a 305 with a 305 would be the the 'newer' engine has less miles, or newer parts on it..
I dunno, Its mostly up to how that engine is compared to the one you have now ^_^

If you have a 305 stock, it will be a direct bolt in I figure.
