Question Problem with the IROC

Hey guys...small problem with the IROC:

About two days ago I came to a stop at a light and sat for about 5 or 6 seconds and all of a sudden my car started sputtering and the idle dropped really low and jumped back and forth so I let off the brake and rolled and it was fine. About two lights later (my town is bombarded by traffic lights...) it did the same thing. However, this doesnt happen every time I come to a light. Also, I started my car up this afternoon after sitting all night and part of the day and I put it in drive after about 5 seconds and gave it some gas and it hesitated/sputtered and then stalled. Put it in Park and started it again, back in drive and it did the same thing. I started it a third time and gave it some throttle and it like sputtered/hesitated and then seemed to get running after that and I got up my driveway. Didn't have any problems on the way to work or starting it after work or on the way back home. Any ideas?? I have searched a few forums and haven't really found what I'm looking for in my application.

Z - How is your idle counts? Assuming the TP is clean and so is the IAC and the IAC housing.

Krazy - Sounds to me like the problem is in the EPROM assuming you have got it set up right. Also assuming the stall is correct for the cam. Seems like when it hits that particular set of circumcisions, it dies out.

Thats why its going in to the shop, They are going to do a NEW chip plus tune it to that chip& Dyno it as well. Plus they are also going to be putting the lower fuel injectors back in the car. After she warms up shes fine but when shes cold I have to two foot her like shes a Manual Keep her RPMs up at about 900-1000s then let off the brake slightly & let her roll. Then she will run fine of course the idle is still rough at stops. But she will not die.

WOAH!! Let's not go doing new chips and crap until you look at the simple things first. Like someone else mentioned, check the TPS, and its wires. K.I.S.S.. (Keep It Simple Stupid!)

Re: Problem with the IROC

They will do all that in the shop. The chip has to be redone because the company that org did the chip put the wrong poundage on the injectors now I have to run 30lb injectors when I want to run 24s.

We did check the timing & the TPS right after we started things & they are ok. The car ran fine up until the chip was put in.
