What am i looking at price wise for a local machine shop to port my heads for me

 

Depends on how much porting you want done...if just a clean up of the runners, matching and doing the bowls it'll be around 150 to 300 if you go all out and have them done it can run as much as a 1000 for CNC'd with all the runners completely opened up and flowed to the same numbers. On top of those first figures you also will need to add in a valve job.

 

a valve job is pretty cheap tho isn't it? like 150$?

 

The heads are new they had a valve job done the heads Have Zero miles the 2.02 / 1.60 60CC chambers New springs. there brane new stll in the box THey just need to be ported.

 

even the best porter will touch the seats everyonce in awhile when they are blending it all in, to do the bowls properly you have to remove material all the way to the 60* angle of the valve job.

 

The heads are all asembled now so how much do you think the will charge me for this.
