i have an 88 irocz and it has a power antenna, i've checked its records from when the previous owner serviced it by gm and it is in fact a power antenna, but it doesnt go down it is permanently up, any suggestions on how to get it to work, or figure out what is wrong?

 

LOL! Mine is stuck DOWN!

 

the motor could be dead or its not receiving power. check for power at the antenna & if power is available when the stereo is on & you have a good ground the antenna motor is gone.
