So far, I have unbolted the exhaust system at the end of the collectors and run the car with the exhaust parts in the car to keep the weight constant. No noticable difference yet.

With the time involved for fabrication, the cost of using good material like T304 stainless and getting them mandrel bent, losing the ground clearence with no performance gain yet, I can't justify it. All it would be left with is the sound and the "cool factor". I could care less about the sound and the "cool factor" which IMO lies in the domain of ricers. Sooo, extra cost + effort + time involved and no performance gain is not a good bargain, IMO. If my exhaust is insufficient I will go to a 4 in. If that is not enough, I'll have to go with true duals but until I reach that stage, I won't bother to pay more for no gain.

Low 12s @ 113 N/A 350 through a full exhaust.

Shorty headers, gutted cat, 3" cat back with a Dynomax Ultraflow muffler (3" in/ 3" out).

I might do long tubes and a custom 3" y-pipe.

TRAXION was running 11's on a N/A 350 with single 3" exhaust with long tube headers and 3" y-pipe.
