has anyone ever ported a stock throttle body? some of my LS1 friends were talking about they had done it, got me wondering if it can be done on ours. would it even be worth doing?

 

You could do it, or buy a bigger one but unless you're making over 400rwhp you wont see much of a difference. Friend of mine bought a 52mm dual blade BBK years ago. He picked up 1 hp at the peak and it was just a little less than 3 at redline which was 5500 rpm on his car.
