Performance parts to upgrade ride?
Performance parts to upgrade ride?
Hey I recently bought a 1988 Camaro Z28 350 V8 auto. Its kind of on the silent side engine wise, I was wondering what I could do to make it as loud as the law allows and as fast as it can be. Let me know the brand you like and why. Thanks guys,

Re: Performance parts to upgrade ride?
Congrats on the new car
For exhaust:
0n my '91- edlebrock headers and catback- nice fit, emissions legal if needed, nice street set up- mellow sound at idle more growl higher rpm's
0n my '86-hooker supercomp Lt w/ spintech mufflers- very tight fit, no emissions, very throaty sound, more power
As for other power mods, the sky is the limit. Just give us some direction with budget, etc

Stay away from "off the shelf" performance computer chips, "underdrive" pulleys , "drop in" K&N Air Filters, throttle body "air foils" and performance mass air flow sensors...They do NOTHING for performance.
