I have a project going on right now that I may need a little info on. I was told that I can use a older style intake on 87-95 centerbolt heads if I drill out the center 2 bolt holes on each side of the intake. Has anyone heard of or done this? I'm only thinking about this beacuse we are puting a carb on a 93 350 from a chevy truck, And standard intakes are easier to find used.

Thats what I did for my performer RPM and it works great, no leaks. That was on my old stock 305 though.

 

yeah, it will work fine, just make sure you use washers on the center bolts
