Ok, I need some help again....

I was just coming home on the expressway, the car fills up with antifreeze so much that it's in the back seats and overheats to about 260. So I pull over, look at the hoses, decide that the one coming from the top of the rad looks like it is going into the heater core and that the one coming from the heater box going to the TPI throttle body is the hose coming from the heater core. I take off both hoses and connect the hose from the rad straight to the throttle body in hopes of bypassing the heater core altogether. I don't think that the core pumped out any more anti freeze onto the floor out of the rad (it was probly what was left in the core) and now the reserve bottle is empty again.

So I'm hoping that the heater core just pumped out the rest of what was in it into the car and I correctly bypassed it. THe car is still overheating a little, mostly at stops and when I accelerate after a stop. If anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

Also, I REALLY DO NOT plan on having this car much sooner, so how much could I get for a L98 350 with a COMPLETE TPI set up + computer? Thanks.

if you wanted to by pass it correctly, the best way to do it is yank both hoses off the heater core, and connect them together...

Yeah, thats what I ended up doing on the side of the highway. It's running okay and no more antifreeze on the front floors, but now the temp gauge is messed up. I really don't care though, as long as it gets me around for a few more weeks.
