Lightbulb New Exhaust set up on my 92Z28

Well, here is the deal. I bought a 80 series Flowmaster for my camaro and installed it. Its nice but not nearly LOUD enough. So, since I just bought a set of Eldelbrock headers with the Y-pipe and single CAT hook up im thinking bout just having a 1 or 2 chamber Flowmaster welded up right at the end of the Y-pipe. Anyone done this? Just wondering whatcha all think about it? Thanks

If you wanted loud, then the 80 was the wrong way to go, as it is the quietest of the flowmaster line. Should have gone with a 40 series.

Idk about the muffler after the Y though. You are going to have to check for clearance.

If you just threw an 80 series on the stock exhaust, it's not going to be loud. Get an exhaust and a Hiflow cat, and it will be plenty loud. Atleast mine is.
