For the 700R4 third to fourth shift at WOT. I keep getting "I thinks" and "I heard this and that". Please, I need a solid solution so I do not waste my time or money.

I bet you the tranny/clutches are going out.

Prolly need a rebuild but let someone else chime in here on it.

Tranny rebuild will cost a pretty penny unless you do it yourself.

There's nothing wrong with his tranny, he just wants to know if there is a way to get a 700-R4 to shift into 4th gear at full throttle.

Personally, I don't know. There are kits that advertise it (dunno if they work,) and there are kits that give you 3/4 throttle upshifts that I know work, but I've never confirmed a 3-4 shift at WOT. Maybe someone else has.

 

I got a Pro-Built 700R4 and it definately shift 3-4 at full tilt. Possibly call their shop and ask how it's done, or email them. I know SLP used to make a kit to make it shift 3-4 properly, same for Trans-Go and a few other places. Goodluck.

 

A manual valve body is the only way I know how to make a 700 shift from 3rd to 4th at full throttle.
