Need More

What it be yall. I've got a 92 RS 305 w/ a 5-speed. Its stock for now except for some real loud exhaust. It'll get up and go but I want some more! Anyone have any mod ideas w/o gettin too crazy? Ive considered a stroker crank, maybe a cam and some roller rockers. Would some JE or KB pistons be a big improvement? I'm only 15 so I dont have a lot of $. Thanks yall.

Any of the stuff you mentioned has to be done with the engine out. At that point, go with a stroker motor.

Personally, I'd use headers or change it to TPI instead of TBI.

yep, a tpi swap would be good, but "w/o gettin too crazy", basicly, you just want some simple bolt on stuff? as mentioned above, what you have in mind requires yanking the engine out...

Do the "usual" stuff to start out with, intake/exhaust, maybe some underdrive pullies, new ignition (either as a whole, or just wires/plugs/cap), shocks (yea, you gotta have a stable car to get the power to the ground) and a tune up would'nt hurt if it hasn't been done in a while.

Most bolt ons (aside from a "bolt on" blower) won't give you lots of noticable power by them self, but a combination of the boltons will give you more power.

Someone posted this link earlier, has lots of info on the 305 tbi:
