I Have A 1986 Z28, It Was Originally A 305 4bbl Car With A 5sp Tranny.
I Yankked The 305 And Replaced With A 383 Stroker. I Have To Use A Sbc 400 Flywheel Because The Engine Is Externally Balanced. I Want To Use The Factory 5sp, What Clutch, Pressure Plate Setup Do I Use? The Original Pressure Plate From The 305 Doesn't Come Close To Fitting The Flywheel From The 400. Is All This Going To Fit Inside The Bell Housing?? Thanks In Advance For The Help

 

Need more info. Where'd you get the flywheel? How big is it?

You're most likely going to have to use a conglomoration or some really expensive parts.

 

got the flywheel from stevens specialty engine parts,it measures 14" across. looks like my factory clutch disc will fit, just need help getting the correct pressure plate

 

You should be able to use a standard flywheel since they're neutrally balanced. The motor should be external front and internal rear which is why you have to use a 400 balancer.
