Ok... dad was out today... and saw a 1991 camaro rs sitting in the home depot parking lot. pin down cowl hood. has 193k miles on it. $1000 obo. manual transmission. called the guy up and im going to take it for a ride and check out the inside tomorro. i currently have a 94 camaro z28. i love the 3rd gen body compared to the 4th gen. so... i am looking into buying it with xmas money. and making a project out of it. how hard is it to swap an lt1 into a 91 camaro? anyone done it? also... the seats in my 4th gen will just bolt right into the 3rd gen correct? and if people have any major issues with the 3rd gens after swaps... or if anyone just has swap info that would be of use... al help is highly appreciated. so thanks.

Many people have done the LT1 swap into thirdgens and theres a TON of info on it out there. Its a straight forward bolt in since its a GenII small block. LS1's (which many have done the swaps with also) are what require different mounts.
