Need help once again

I've got a couple of wires that I cant figure out where they go..

This wire is on the same wire as the one that leads to my oxygen sensor..

This is one the driver's side of the block, the passanger side as 2 of these too, but i found connections for both of them...

This one plugs into that black box "outlet" in the picture, and then another wire off that same black box leads to my coil...

This one was behind my coil on the wiring harness..

Re: Need help once again

The wire in the 1st pic goes to the sender in the 2nd pic (if the sender is in between the #1 and #3 spark plugs, which it looks like it is). That sender is the coolant temp. sending unit, and it's what the gauge in the dash uses to show coolant temp. The connector just slides on the end of the sender and should sort of lock into place.

The wiring in the 3rd pic looks like it should go to the ICM (igniition control module) on the back of the distributor.

I am unsure about the wiring in the 4th pic at the moment

Re: Need help once again

Could that 4th picture be the connector for the air temp sensor. I know on the older TPIs, with the temp sensor on the plenum, has a harness connector at the back of the plenum. But, I'm not sure how it is wired when the sensor is on the air intake.

If there are already 2 different electrical connectors in the ICM, than I am wrong. It must go to something else.

Re: Need help once again

I see you only have one wire pluged into you coil... There should be one pulled beside the gray plug.. witch should run to the distributor... the wire in pic 4.. look under the back of the coil... you should see a little back thing that has lines going into it.. that wires plugs up there... it's hard to get to, and see... goodluck

Re: Need help once again

Thank you so much, i got the wire on the back of my coil.. so picture 4 is done. I just need number 3. I already have 2 wires running off my wiring harness that lead to my distributor. Would It change anything If i told you I have a digital ignition on the car? Accel 300 to if that changes anything either.

Re: Need help once again

When i first got the car...a wire was unplugged (looked kinda like the air temp sensor slp sells, just smaller). What i believe happened was he ran that number 3 wire into the bottom of my upper intake. This time around, the wire that was unplugged (air temp sensor looking 1), i ran to the bottom of the upper intake...

And when i frist got my car..only 1 wire was coming off my coil..

Re: Need help once again

The wire in 3 on my car goes from the coil to the distributer.... that wire must be in place... I understand you have a accel ignition.. look on the ignition box or on it's wiring for a place to plug in that wire... I'm looking at a photo of that ignition box in a summit mag. and i see a place on the wiring to plug it up... In this photo it's connected to a red wire, your should be the same if it's a accel 300+.... good luck

No, If he already has two wires going to his ICM/distributor (i think it is a totally different wire) then it goes in the bottom of the plenum. Thats where it went on mine, by the runner on the drivers side. Hard to get too but thats where it goes.

He only has one wire going to his coil and he needs the other one also.. thats the one that lets them work together.. if he's useing the 300+ the wires goes from the coil to the 300+'s box then the 300+ has a wire that goes to the distributer... Now if he didn't have the 300+ system then it would go fron the coil straight to the distributor...
