Well, ive been working on the Z28 and in the last few months i've had these problems. Dropped a valve, broke the spring and lost the retainer. changed heads, and the car started fine. adjusted rockers once, timed it, and put it in drive and boom, it stalls. it runs fine in park or nuetral, but it wont run in drive. Im using a CC dist, and CC carb. the timing is fine, idel mixture has been adjusted. Im kinda at the end of my rope trying to figure this out. I dont think its the stall converter, cause last year at this time it ran fine, the brakes were a little hard cause of the cam lift but thats it. Why wont this thing run in drive??
