I have a 91 305 tpi Z28, and I am having problems with the computer. Does anyone have a spare computer that will work with my car? I dont know if its the chip or the ecm itself so I am just replacing it all. It will run but the service engine soon light goes on and off. When it comes on it runs like crap and when it goes off it runs perfect. Any help would be appreciated.

 

are u sure its the computer maybe a bad sensor????

 

Actually, it sounds to me that It might be an EGR related problem. Best thing for you to do is get it on a scanner next time it does it to get a sure read on what it might be. If it is the EGR then you need to pull of the plenum to get to it seeing that its in between the fuel rails.

 

Yes, I put a scanner on it and it said ECM.

 

not to get off tangents here,, but did u notice any gains from your 58mm t-body?????? im about to buy one just curious
