Does anyone know where I could find Longtubes for my 86 Z28? They need to have a "D" style exhaust port with 1 3/4 tubes.

I guess the D shape woud be cool but I would port if I could find some 1 3/4 Long Tubes.. I wonder what willie is running?

 

hooker 2210's, they fit a 1406 exhaust gasket fine

 

I was told by someone else that Hooker could custom make them. Anybody ever have that done?

I doubt it, but there are many shops across the country that will make you some if you leave the car with them. Make sure you have angle plug heads with the 2210's or else the #7 cylinder is a bitch.

 

I can't use the 2210's. The port style is not a "D" which is what I need. I don't have a stock engine, I have a ZZ4 engine and I will be porting the heads out and keeping the "D" style exhaust port.

Have you ever seen the 1406 gasket? It is a d port.

 

From what I understand, the 2210 headers are 1 3/4 full length headers for third gens. However, they come with the stock style exhaust port, which is not "D".

The 1406 gaskets could be "D" style, but i need the headers, not the gaskets.

people use non d port headers all the time on d port style heads the 1 3/4 should cover the area fine. thats what im using on my lt1...
