All I come up with is the front suspension struts. Oh well, I'll just use a stick till I find some. Just takes up cargo room. hahaha

Thumbs up

Bought mine from Discount Auto for 33.00 rear and 15.00 hood( price on each).....Can't beat that with a stick....Or you could but the broom handle looks so redneck!!! No offense Rippin....I know when money is tight!!!

I bought them about 2-3 years ago (before Advanced Auto took over) and they still shoot the hood and hatch up.

Later

My tranny is auto... but my hood? hell, it's a STICK! LOL!

How did yalls struts go out? was it gradualy, or was it all at once?

Me? I just popped my hood one day, and it was very heavy, and wouldn't stay up... over night (literaly).

Dunno, I just got this thing. It's been sitting in a field since 92. I had to wack the rims off the rear hubs yesterday with a very large rubber mellet! And a list of other things I am working through. But it's only got 76k miles and runs like new!

Thanks all, I did find it under "lift support".

Me Too! I replaced the ones to my hood several years back & about 6 months later same situation. Just remember to be careful when tinkering around under the hood, so as to not cause the hood to suddenly drop.

I saw a different way this morning at a mechanic shop, he had a pair of vice grips on the driver side strut locked tight & the hood was up.
