Mystery Vaccume lines

You ever start a simple project and find so many other problems you wonder how the car evan ran in the first place. Well my 88 Camaro had no heat at all, the coolent just wasn't heating up so i decided to replace the thermostat, which requires removing the upper intake. which causes every plastic vaccume line to shatter then I noticed the coil wire's corroded badly, the inside of the distributer cap is full of rusty water and so on. But anyway here's my question as i was looking for the heater core bypass (my car dosn't seem to have one?) I noticed two vaccume lines coming out of the fire wall that havn't been hooked up to any thing in a long time, I assume there for the climate control I can't seem to find where they should go in the engine compartment, anyone know?
