Unhappy mystery fluid

hey question im leaking a fluid from what looks like behind the oil pan. i thought it was oil but i never lose a drop on my dipstick. so i checked my brake fluid today and it was just about empty so it must be break fluid. do brake lines run from behind the pan or is there something that runs from behind the pan that could carry break fluid

The brake line for the rear brakes runs down the tranny tunnel. It may have a small hole in it.

Where does your passenger side caliper get fluid from? I haven't checked on the camaro's but my S10 has a T-junction on the crossmember on the drivers side, where 1 goes to the drivers side caliper and the other goes along the crossmember to the passenger side. With all the wind blowing under the car when you drive, it could be getting blown onto the pan and dripping from there.

If its an auto transmission.. if might be your front pump seal, behind the torque converter... check out the color and smell of the fluid.
Red - tranny
Black or Beer color - Oil
Clear - Brake fluid

Yeah the pass. side front caliper line runs along the K-member. That's another good possibility.
