I just got my transmission rebuilt last week. Now, ever since I got the car back, ive been hearing this...kinda grinding noise, or like something that's loose is vibrating really fast underneath..it's wierd. Since the tranny is new is it just going to do that for a few miles and then stop, or should I take it back?

 

Auto or Manual tranmisson rebuild?

 

I have a feeling if you take them a transmission in a month that bombed and tell them it was grinding for 3 weeks that voids the warranty somewhere....take it back now.

They probably didnt rebuild the entire internals of tranny, a lot of times shops like to cut corners. Take it back, they should fix the problem. Good Luck
