okay i just noticed a little problem with my seats in my newly purchased camaro. the seats dont lock in the upright position for some weird reason i could have sworn they did before. anyone have any reason/things to check or are my seats screwed. i have my helm inc service manual going to look at that tommorow too tired now just kind of freaking out maybe itll help me

 

what do you mean, exactly? the stock seats should fold forward on level ground by just pulling on them, if the car is on an incline, you will need to hit the lever on the back, to recline, you need to hit the lever on the side

 

All 3rd gen seats fold forward without using the lever on the seatback. Put there by GM for some unknown reason. Mine never worked since the car was brand new.

 

lol good to know...i had just totally freaked out when all of a sudden i realized my seats seemed like they were broken. i just thought ahhhhhh i dont have money for this right now =) thanks for the posts though and putting my mind at ease
