Motor

I am about to start 'building' a motor for my car and I have a whole bunch of questions.

I am going to use a GM ZZ4 short block for the foundation and after I have it tuned N/A I am going to get an ATI procharger kit, but thats about all I have decided on. I don't know what to do for the intake/heads/cam. My gut is to go with the scoggin-dickey vortec manifold and the lingenfelter large box plenum/runners or Ported plenum and TPiS runners with either Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads or GM Vortec Aluminum heads and a TPiS cam. Or, I could scrap all that and go with a Miniram and Trick Flow or Edelbrock heads.

Also, can an electric water pump be used on a daily driver or is that a bad Idea? I plan on swapping in a BeCool radiator but it does get real hot down here, so I will need to use the A/C.

If I need to clarify anything I can, thank you for any help ya'll can give.

It's been a couple years since I've done anything real technical with a TPI motor so hopefully some guys on here will set me straight if I give you some miss information.

I'd go MINI RAM all the way. Edelbrock or trickflow heads. (seems like the edelbrock produced better numbers but it's been a couple years). Mini Ram has better flow in the upper RPM range which would be a definate plus if you plan on blowing the motor. The other setups are by far better than stock but still will bottleneck around 5500rpm. The MiniRam flowed good to 6200 and a guy here locally was turning his to 6500 with no problems on power output...I think it was ported though. I'd go Mini Ram, when I had planned to build my motor up thats the route I took even though it never materialized
