moody tranny seal
with a moody tranny leak(most likley rear tail seal) do they leak more when the ds is spinning, when im ideling in park, she drips a drop every 5 or seconds, just wondering if more fluid is lost while driving.
Probably, b/c the combo of G-force on take-off plus the shaft spinning makes it easier to leak.
Pan gaskets leak notoriously, bolts loosen etc...a filter with gasket is an easy fix...just make sure to clean mounting surfaces with brake cleaner and if you use a "cork" gasket, use RTV sealer on both sides of it...if you use a rubber gasket, just put fresh tranny fluid on both sides of it.
If you replace the tranny rear seal, you can use a PVC plumbing pipe connector of correct diameter and tap it in with a rubber mallet or block of wood.
