It was GM 's name for the non-performance model Camaro for a few years. A Girl's car at the time and not PC now.

to be completely honest with you the main reason i am looking at is because it is so cheap, 500 bucks (can.) with new floor pans, paint, rear shocks and rebuilt tranny. i do agree with thatt it is not as attractive as say a z-28 but i wouldn't go as far as to say ugly (although everyone is entitled to there opinion)

just out of my own curiosity were all of the dimensions the same for the berlinetta as the other camaros? if so the thing would be worth it for sure if you put on a ground effects package and some new rims. and if its only got the v6 in it id really want to do an engine swap. couldnt imagine driving a camaro with anything other then a v8 (actually a v10 might be kind of fun )

It's worth $500 just as a straight body. You can always put GFX and new wheels on it and swap in a 383 and no one will ever know it started life as a bottom-of-the-line car with a really bad name.

Just to let you know, the Berlinetta digital dash does not go higher than 85mph. At 85mph it will start to flash. Car will go faster but speedo stops at 85.
My friends was fully optioned. just no gfx or spoiler.
