how many miles did your z have on it when you bought it, and how much did you buy it for? im just trying to get a good idea of prices for a 82-92 z, with a manual.

 

2 years ago, $5000, 115k on my Iroc with all options BUT leather.

 

Bought my 94 Formula (4th gen) about 4 years ago with 32,000 miles for $10,000. Now it's got 122,000 on it (it was my daily driver up until about a year ago and I do over 40K a year).

The price difference beteen an 82Z and a 92Z is huge. Figure out what model year you really want and go for it. I personally wouldn't buy one before about 1987.

 

I bought mine for $1200 with 267454Km on it and it needed floors

1985 Camaro Z28 - 251k... had motor replaced somewhere around 200k with a goodwrench 305 and has a rebuilt tranny w/ shift kit.. I paid $1,000.. Red with Iroc Z hood (removed in favor of a 4" cowl).. very slow! but soon to have a 383 stroker .. peace
