Has anyone installed a Magnaflow 15620 on their 3rd gen camaro? The 15620 is for 93-97 camaros/firebirds. I know the pipes are bent the same, but the hangers are different. I also know that alot of people have done this, but I need to see pics of how they modded their hangers for the tail pipes and over the axle pipe/intermediate pipe. I planned on using 360 swingers for the tail pipes, but not sure which route to go for the intermediate section. Thanks

 

Any competant muffler shop will be able to modify the exhaust to mate up with your y-pipe and connect to your hangers. I have their muffler on my car and it has a really great sound.

 

this is a pacesetter exhaust that came straight off of a 95 Trans Am.
It bolted right onto my 86 Trans Am and the shop made me a custom y-pipe for my headers and put the cat in and bent the tubing before the cat to mate with with the I-pipe from the pacesetter.

 

Thanks for the pics, did you Intermediate pipe come with that hanger on it, or did the muffler shop fabricate that? The one the magnaflow kit came with has a straight flat piece with a hole in it. I'd post a pic, but the site wont let me.

 

the i-pipe had no hanger on it, and I think the hanger shown was on the car and the shop just welded it to the pipe on the cat.
i'll see if I can find the original pics since they are slightly higher resolution.

 

I was talking about the hanger on the pipe that attaches to the muffler, and connects to the i-pipe. Thanks

 

oh, that hanger was on there when I got it from my friend.
