Re: mad dog transmissons

never heard of them. i'd go with probuilt automatics if i were you. i made the mistake of going with monster motorsports and i really regret it. they sent me a slipping tranny that lost 3rd and 4th gear two days after i put it in, and then made ME pay 200$ shipping to send it back and have them send a new one back to me. i also have to pay my mechanic another 250$ to put the damn tranny in again. and what pisses me off is that they told me that all the fine metal shavings (looked like liquid metal that was on the magnet of the tranny pan) was the aluminum from the torque converter clutch.... hey guys, since when does aluminum stick to a magnet? like most companies, they dont want to accept the blame for faulty products. go with probuilt automatics and you'll be happy you did. dont bother for anyone else's 700r4's. i wish i had gone probuilt, i probably wouldnt have had this problem.
