i guess i was wrong you should go with the lt1 cam!

Yeah, the best rule of thumb for these matters is no more than about .460 lift on the either lobe with stock GM heads. That is with 1.5 rockers. 1.6 rockers effectively add .030 to your lift numbers, squeezing the valve springs pretty tight and probably requiring the valve guides to need machining for clearance, as well.

LT4 cams absolutely are getting beyond the limit of stock castings
