LT1 flywheel for an old style block for a T56

Hey guys. Does anyone know if someone makes a flywheel that will allow an old school internally balanced 350 to be bolted upto the LT1 clutch and LT1 T56 tranny? And if so, how much?

I have an old block I would like to rebuild using a 383 rotating assembly, etc, but would like to mate it to my '94 T56 and use the existing clutch. I know that a one-piece block will work fine with a stock flywheel, but by the time I buy one of those blocks, and the more expensive crank, it might all be the same. Thanks a lot guys!

You can bolt a '93-'97 T-56 to an early model block using Centerforce flywheel #700107. Be prepared to spend $300 on it though, they have the market cornered.

That is pretty expensive. If I can get a cheap 1 pc. 4 bolt block (I think I can), I am going to.

I'm in the same boat there, bro. Seems like the cheap roller block (1 pc rear seal) is 10x better than forking over 300 bones for a flywheel.

I just need to sell this old block and I'll be in business.

You're better off going with a late-model block anyway. You won't have to use $$$$ retro-fit lifters if you go with a roller cam.

I have comp. endura x solid roller lifters, they will work with any block. But I have a line on a cheap 4 bolt roller block, so I think I'll just go that route. Thanks guys.
