2 inches is a lot. do you have headers?? if so, you will have a clearance problem. you might have some trouble with scraping when you turn corners but it shouldn't be bad.

how much do you drive it? that is pretty low if you drive it everyday, imo. ive heard of people scraping with the prokit, and thats another .5" to .75" higher than the sportlines.

although the cars i see with sportlines look real killer, personally i wouldnt want to scrape up a lot since itd be a daily driver. but a show car, or once in a while driver is a different story.. haha

If you lower it you'll probably have to end up getting new shocks/struts sometime within a year (unless you already have a good set). You'll want relocation brackets for traction issues. And you'll need an adjustable panhard rod to recenter your rear end. That's all you'll need really.

2" is a lot on a thirdgen. Personally I'd stick to 1-1.5" but make sure you get some pics up if you do it.

i still have 245's all the way around and the only thing on mine that scrapes is the exhaust, and that wouldn't scrape if i had it hung up right

Mine is just shy of a 2" drop and it is flat out too low. You will be scraping on every entrance and exit, every speed bump, every pebble. You name it and I am sure that it has hit the bottom of my car. I would suggest not going that low. I am going to be raising my car up once all of the other suspension is done with.

Why are you lowering it? I had Accel Tri-Ys that are no longer made. Loved them tho. However, they would scrape when I went over bumps. This was with the stock suspension. Now my headers don't because I changed the engine mount which went bad prematurely and replaced the shocks.

Normally, headers should not be a problem. So you need to ask yourself, why you are trying to lower it. Is this for an autocross or what?

I installed the Eibach Pro-Kit and I love the ride, only I scrape a bit more now. I just lifted the car onto jackstands to install SFCs this week and I noticed my tranny pan has rusted because I scrape the pan now...didn't do that before. That's the only drawback I've encountered.

i lowered mine with the kit from JC Whitney for the front, it was just over 1.5" and i don't scrape any more than i did before under normal driving, but if your in a parking lot and there are speed bumps, you will scrape. this is with 245/50/16.
