Low Clutch Pedal

I have an 87 IROC-Z ZZ4 motor with a 5spd. The clutch is grabbing lower and lower and just the other day it seemed as though every gear was grinding, like i couldn't get the clutch to disengage all the way. I've heard of bleeding the clutch, how do i do this? I'm new to non-automatic cars. thanks

Most of the newer cars I've worked on have a brake line bleeder on the clutch Hydraulics for bleeding the system. I don't believe third gens do. First thing is to check for leaks and that there is fluid in the system. The fluid tank is up next to the brake booster and you can follows the lines from there. Last time I had to fill one I just filled the tank and pumped the clutch untill bubles stoped coming up, then put the cap on

If you dont have any leaks, then you probably have a bad master or slave cylinder.
