Will a Loud mouth rear section from after the resonator back fit on a 3rd gen by just shortening the crossover pipe before tailpipes?

 

The only difference between a thirdgen and fourthgen exhaust is where they bolt to the catalytic converters. From the i-pipe back, both systems are the same.

 

I have the entire loud mouth cat back on my car. It all fits. Kinda. Some hangers have to be moved around cause they are in different places on 4th gens. The other thing if one tail pipe kinda bends out a lil, pass side if im remembering right. I got my exhaust new from SLP, I guess they do that to clear the spare tire area on the 4th gens. Its not huge and not really noticable.
