Well you're in luck, cause the 5.7L TPI doesn't come with a manual. You could only get the 5.7L with an automatic.

 

some guy on autotrader had one with a stick.. i guess cumstom.. but just in case.. ..

You'll never find an 86 'cuz they didn't make L98s that year. Only started in 87.

 

im not looking for a drag car, just a car i can drive around.. i only want a stock 87' -89 Iroc Z... bone stock... 110,000 miles or less.. no more.. i only got aorund $5,000 to spend... if that...i dont know.. it depands... .. plz some1 out there have in or around TAMPA, FL....

He wants an Iroc with a 350 engine between 1986 and 1989. There are no 86 Camaros of any sort with a 350, unless put there by the owner.

 

Find your local Auto Trader website. There should be dozens of Camaros all over Florida. 5 grand will buy a nice, cherry Iroc

Also, go to the www.thirdgen.org site and check the classifieds. New cars are for sale there every day.

 

I just purchased an 86 Iroc with a 350, but it's a crate engine. Thats all you will find I'm quite sure of this because I did ALOT of looking for a 350 Iroc, and all of them were either a crate engine, or turned out being 305s.

No, nothing wrong with a crate engine at all. The 350 was just never a factory option until 1987--so don't let anyone try and sell you one as a collector's item.

Chevy did produce about 50 1986 Irocs for evaluation purposes but they all apparently wound up in the crusher, and were never offered for sale.

 

i only want an RS or Iroc with a 350 TPI or any other 350 type... i dont care what it is..lol thnx to all that have posted so far.. plz if u see this and u have a camaro for sell... 3rd gen.. only plz reply post or send to e-mail... thnx..
