long tubes and a starter
ive got a 88z with hooker long tubes. i had a mini starter on it that went out, so i pitched it and got a new one. i cant seem to get my wires on it without touching the header tubes.
any suggestions???? this starter is different than what i had.
im about to set fire to this pos.
maybe a remote solenoid?
i dunno.

You could always extend the wires. Just make sure you use the same gauge wire that way you don't do anything to to the inline fuses. Or as you stated, a remote silenoid is always an option and I would highly recommend it. Plus your going to be extending the wires anyways so why not make them longer for the silenoid?A little more work for a lot less hassle down the road.
Have fun.

extending the wires arent going to help in my case. the stud for the solenoid is right behind a header tube. i found a way to keep them off the header, but they are like .. that close.
