Re: lg4
^Whoa there Vin Diesel, I'll "shut my hole" when I feel like it. Until then, I guess your just going to have to suffer if your into that sort of thing..
LS1.com? Why dont you take a look at cz28.com where most LS1'ers are putting out 320+rwhp. Even if they put down 310hp, prove that I'm wrong by my saying that they dont put down less than 305hp? Please?
Somebody said the the AVERAGE LT1 was putting down 305hp, and I said that they were more like 285 for the year given. 305hp is NOT average. I am very interested in seeing some dyno sheets for a STOCK claimed 305hp LT1. I have NEVER heard of or seen a dyno-tested 305hp LT1 before and I would be most honored to see my first.
So until YOU post up some "real" numbers, I suggest YOU put up or shut up.

The LT1's were NOT advertised as the same hp as the LS1's
I proved otherwise, some lt1's WERE advertised as 305 HP. It doesnt matter what they actually put down...that is not the argument.
Can you please point out IN THIS THREAD, where someone SAID the average lt1 was putting down 305 HP?
You are the one whos credibility is in question, therefore the onus is on you to prove things.
I'd personally LOVE to see the average stock ls1 is putting down more the 320rwhp..and that includes vettes, GTO's, 98,99,+ ls1's... so please, prove me wrong..and i will completely admit my mistake and apologize.

I think alot of those people use STD numbers and not SAE. my lt1 made 321(i think) std, and sae it was only 310 rwhp.
I just made a post with some examples..i think most of the SAE examples are in the 300-310 rwhp..and there are some people that seem to put down 320 rwhp or so..but its not the average. I am trying to find some examples on camaroz28.com, but the search button keeps giving me an error.

Re: lg4
back all this dyno talk up.one ,beleive what u want about the numbers 305,the ls1 run 13s mostly.that right there said she needs 300 or mor eponies to do that...........and this thread was about how great a lg4 is,not a standard old 305 block with all new after market parts..then its not really a lg4 now is it?
and for those who think your ok because you reved the **** out of your 305 and didnt hit the valves, you need to understand what im saying,im not talking about smacking the pistons,i said cylinders...its called simple math, your great lg4 bore is less than 4 inch, add 2.02 valve with a 1.60 exhaust, thats 3.62 inches of valves alone, not including spacing, now stick that down into your cylinders on an angle at a high lift and you start to see where clearence on a 305 starts to become a problem, thus one main reason folk dont like the 305.its not a good build candidate due to the bore size

Re: lg4
When your line of BS about your 'ESTIMATED" 300 hp LG4 started to be questioned, the subject was changed. But again you show that all your BS info :blah: :blah: :blah:
is incorrect. Nothing about your estimated numbers are fact and the mystery parts & rebuild on this so call 305 is startimg to get funny.
You dug that BS hole so deep and what you are saying is proving nothing but

Re: lg4
Well now that we've determined who thinks he's full of it, who thinks he's at least close to his estimates, and what people think stock LS1 specs are... I think it's time we let this thread die, unless there's new ground to be covered. :P
Let's just see some dyno numbers in the spring, ok Matt?

Ok smarta$$. When you look at that link, add a cam, heads, and everything else I mentioned onto it. Does 300hp seem so distant? Didn't think so. Does 300hp seem pricey, or full of a "bs hole" as you like to spout off? Ok.

Now where's my apology tough-guy? Or do I REALLY have to find more?
EDIT: And yes knightrider, a dyno-slip will be the boards to keep. BUT I will be expecting many kisses on my a$$ for everybody that doesn't believe me.
