Knock sensor.......

I am getting ready to hook all of my electronics back up to my motor, and I recall someone telling me about using a knock sensor out of an LT5 maybe? They said that it was superior than a stock one for my LB9 for a few reasons, but I cannot remember why it was better, or what motor the knock sensor came off of-any ideas? I am pretty sure he said LT5, which is the 32 valve out of the ZR1's right? Thanks in advance-

I wouldn't screw with it. People have tried to make the KS less sensitive so they can ping more and not have the ECM retard the timing. Guess what, you sacrifice engine life. Each knock chips away at the engine lifespan. Have your EPROM fixed so it can run more timing and dump more fuel in at the right time or go back to stock.
