woooo!!! Im pretty happy. I saw a nice black 91 rs on my way too work . i passed him while he was turning onto a street and threw a couple revs at him. he then passed me up and i started to follow. i was on my way to work but i wanted to play so i followed. we weaved in traffic for a bit then we finally caught a light. i was gonna tell him about some websites but we got a green. he counted down from 3 then we went. i took him off the line and held him off. I had him by like 1/2 a car. I was pretty happy because I know he is rated at like 20 more hp and more torque than my stock 84 Z. I know where he goes to school so I will probably leave him a little note In the next week I plan to get an open element and 3 inch cat and catback.

what are your times on the 1/4 mile?

 

lol...i know its not that big of a deal but I was just happy since he is rated at 20 more hp and 15 more lbs of torque. And his engine is probably in better condition so I expected him to edge me out. I dont have any times for the 1/4 mile right now. I just bought the car in Sept. Since then it has gotten a full tuneup and has a rebuilt 700r4 with shiftkit and vette servo. I cant wait till I get paid then Im gettin me an exhaust

 

not to trash your car, cuz i love z28's, but maybe you should swap out that engine and put in something better so next time you post a kill, you can say something dope like "i just whored a z06" lol

 

You start pickin on lower trim 3rd gens and then you come upto a 5 color berlinetta with a 6 inch cowl hood like i did that eats you for lunch and then you learn. My car isnt slow by any means but holy ****.

 

6 inch cowl hoods are usually a sign of something that'll eat you for lunch, lol, but then again, i know a guy with a lt1 with a cowl hood just for looks...

 

you'll soon learn that what a motor is rated at and what it makes are two completely different things...

 

hell yeah Im a college student right now though so I have to pay for my schooling. I am saving though. When I get enough money I am gonna get a 350 and build it up nicely

nah, i wasnt pickin on him. i wouldnt pick on any 3rd gen. I saw the kid once before. i know where he goes to school so i will probably talk to him one day. tryin to get more 3rd gens from my area that way we can all cruise and stuff.

Make sure you start saving your money, because I've been palnning on building a 383 since high school, and still don't have the money, and that was 7 years ago.
