Thumbs up

You will probably gain 2-3 hp (and thats being nice) and the same on torque. You gotta remember that all the little mods add up so do not let the above numbers change your mind. Check out www.thirdgen.org for a WHOL LOT OF FREE MODS to give you a little extra ponies.

Not to much HP/TQ gains, but at least you will not have to buy new filters in the future. This is the big plus with K&N and increased air flow.

the other idea is that if you want to do massive mods to do up the rest of the engine dropping on new intakes and heads and headers etc will do absolutly squat if the engine cant get enough air to run and even if youre not going to do all of that (which you should *waves fist angrily*) you also dont have to replace them so either way its win win

I dropped them into my TPI Iroc. And im more than happy with them. First thing I bought for it. And all of my cars have them..And it aint just horse and tq u get. and not having to buy another EVER. its the fact that they will save you so much at the gas station it aint even funny.

If you dont buy them, your crazy.

Smile check this out

ok im defiantley going to pick thos up but i ws reading and wondering if buy those filters, remove the screens from around my mas air flow sensor , take the baffles out of my boxes , by pass my tb coolant and eventually get a air foil how much hp/tq will i gain ???? and before im done i plan on going with the edelbrock 52mm t body and grinding down that little wall in my manifold for more air then eventaull longer runners but for now. id like to know about the removing of baffles, tb coolant bypass k n drop ins , removing screens from mass , and air foil how much it would do for me.

Well two things I would forget about to start are:
1) 52mm TB- reason to big for your engine.
2) descreening the Maf=more problems then its worth.

The other Items are ok and they will give you some small gains,
again they will not turn a stock engine into a performance king.

K&N Air Filters are worth the money... they add a few extra ponies, add some torque, and i have even noticed a slight increase in fuel economy!

it's a great buy, you can't go wrong... don't be afraid!
