There's no reason it shouldn't. The engine mounts are in the same position. The rear of the oil pan (sump) is roughly the same shape. There will be a lot more room for headers with a tubular crossmember.

I just haven't got around to buying one yet. Rebuilding another engine has changed my winter project funding.

This company makes a stronger than PARacing 's unit and have special provisions for BIG Block Applications..

You don't need "special provisions for BIG Block Applications", especially since the SBC and BBC have the same external mounting dimensions. Everyone will support the company that made their parts, unfortunately some will go even further and bash the competitors. I have a PA-Racing K-member in my 3rd gen, it fit no problems and is very sturdy. Another company to note is BMR.

Oh and stronger sometimes just equals heavier.

I think the mounting position is lower for added hood clearance.. Check it out before you knock it.. This Road Tech version looks real sturdy.. I know what PA Racing's unit weighs, 19.5lbs. Waiting to find out what The road tech's version weighs, if it weigh within two pounds of 19.5 then I'm getting a road tech version.

For my race car I would prefer the PA version just because they use heim joints instead of poly bushings. In my application that makes it a better setup.

PA makes killer stuff, quality is there big time. I would go with them hands down. My MMPs look great and plenty sturdy. If its a major concern why not just ditch the motor mounts and go with a motor plate?

PS...take it from me...dont build a good HP motor and stay with a 10 bolt, they break too easy. Upgrade the chassis to hold the HP or you will be fighting a never ending battle. The last pass I made in my car w/ the 10 bolt is in my sig and I broke the gears on street tires!!
