eh thats so lame and half assed i dont know where to begin...First of all what do you want from modern? Are you looking at getting new seats and want opinions? How much money do you want to spend. Do some research and then come back with some more specific questions.

Search for a guy Zepher, he put 4thg gen seats in, doorpanels and even the dash! Talk about sweet. As Doug said though, get more specific. Later!

sorry, it was just a suggestion.

I sat in a newer TA and absolutly loved the way the seats felt, much much better than my 3rd gen seats.

I may be wrong but I dont think he ment your suggestion. I think he ment that what the guy asked was a half *** question. More information is needed before it can properly be answered.

Now I'll bow out of this thread as cosmetic/ergonomic work I know very little about

****ing right, ya der eh?

Uh, yeah, there was a thread about swapping in fourth gen seats not all that long ago... They're extremely comfortable, though heavier. If you're going for weight reduction, get some decent race seats... couple hundred bucks each. Or if you're going for comfort, just get some fourth gen leather. Very VERY nice. Should bolt right up.

sorry to affend everyone with my broad question, but i meant the question to include everything interior wise, like new gauges, are there any dash kits, are they any new seats someone would recommend, pedals, carpeting, floor mats, shifters, steering wheel, the whole nine yards; im prolly going to end up going for more comfort than losing wieght, im open to everything, i hope i was a little more specific this time

Shut the hell up ya goo gobbler...How lame would it be if i came on the board and went yo guys what can i do to make my car better? I think that is pretty half assed and really damn lazy....do a little research and dont waste everyones time with horribly broad questions.

Okay as far as interior if comfort is the biggest thing id reccomend a set of nice leather seats....You can do 4th gen seats or you can look on ebay and see if you can find a nice set of vette seats cheap? Not all seats are a direct bolt in but as long as they will physically fit in the car with some slight modification they can pretty much all be made to fit.

As far as steering wheels, pedals, shifter ****...umm look at omp stuff theyre good...ack just stay away from sparco i hate that stuff (not for any real reason i just dont like it, lots of friends i have just consider it a cheap knock off brand??? who knows.)

Gague clusters you can get white overlays but thats about it anything else involves some fabrication....

how much money are you looking to spend? Id still go and do a search through the boards and check out the message boards on thirdgen.org and check out the body and interior board that should give you a good start.

happy hunting.

There are two sets of wires there, one from the old dash and then the new dash wiring. I worked on the car a bit today, put in the 6 speed pedals, but I think the master clutch cylinder needs to be moved a bit upwards on the firewall.
