Inside Temperature Gauge Post - Rumor or Real??
Hey I found this wanted to hear if anyone else had come across this:

Chevrolet had a bulletin for camaros with temp guages being out of
calibration as well as I can remember you get a 10 ohm 1/2 watt resistor and cut the wire going to the coolant temp SENDER and splice the resistor in there this is supposed to bring the guage reading down to match the actual temp of the coolant
NOTE: Be sure you have the temp sender and not the sensor as 10 extra ohms there would certainly cause performance problems
