injectors size? or options?

my buddy has a 87 GTA. and he spun a bearing in his 305. well he had a 350 put in.
well i drove it, and its not getting enough gas at all. so my question is, does he need to get the 22lb injectors. or can he just het a fuel presure regulator and bump up the psi?...... the motor is just a stock rebuild.
i think he could get away with the FPR . but thats my opinion

I would get 22 pound injectors. If it's moded he might be able to run 24.

Slightly larger injectors are better then slighly smaller any day of the week in my book. HAve you verified that its not gettign enough gas by using a nice wb 02 and a scanner setup (liek moates or diacomm)
