I'm having a problem with my car
I'm having several problems with my car.
:::Problem one:::
When I start the car it takes forever to actually turn over, then sometimes it just chokes right afterward.
:::Problem two:::
When I am in low RPMs (between 1000 and 1500 RPM) it will just drop down to 0 rpm and choke. Like it will be going, and I'm letting off the clutch then you can just look over and watch the RPMs drop to zero, the only way to stop this is the get it up above 1500 RPM, it only does it every once in awhile, but it still sucks.
:::Problem Three:::
When I let off the clutch in 1st gear (such as at a stop sign) theres a **clck clck clck** from the engine on the driver side, I think it might be the mounting, but I'm not sure.
:::Problem Four, Final problem ~_^:::
My RPMs are way freaking high, I can't keep it below 2000 when driving, I mean it just jumps up there, even if I'm just cruising, I will find myself going 30 in 3rd gear and be at 3000 to 3500 rpms. is that normal?
Sorry for the way I posted this, I have a horrible way of just babbling on message boards, and then the whole point is lost ~_^
Any help would be good, Thanks

Most of these things sound like a good tune-up might fix them. Give that a try first. If you still have problems with the engine speed and such, it's probably something with the fuel system. It's just a matter of systematically rooting it out. Start with the fuel pump and work your way to the fuel management system (carb or injectors). Hope this helps.

check your fuel pump for your starting and dying probs.. check your connections and wireing.. that was my problem.. just unhook all the wireing in the fuel system and replace or clean it up that should fix that in a hour er 2
Hey Karma
Im having the same problem as you i believe it is #3 with the clicking as you release the clutch. I thought it was normal cause i can still pick it up its just a little slow off the line. Im gonna take this to my mechanic,(he is excellent specializes in Camaros) and see if it is a major problem. Another piece of good info is how much mileage/Km is on your car.
