If I have $200 to spend...
1987 Chevy Camaro LT 305 4barrell carb.
I got a couple hundred I can put into my car right now. Im mainly looking for horse power increase. My car is totally stock witht he exception of a Flowmaster exhausl system. What is the best thing I can spend a couple hundred on to increase horsepower most dramaticaly?

Headers. You can get numerous different brand sets used with y-pipe for <$200. Or you can buy new Hooker headers and the y-pipe for a little over $200, without the unneccessary AIR injection. Do the work yourself.

If your willing to do without your ride for a few days take off they heads and have them machined. Get a 3 angle Valve job and get the heads shaved and ported etc... I think you can get a machine shop to do that for abound a couple hundred

That's a lot of work for very little gain. Not to mention the additional costs of fluids, gaskets, broken bolts, etc.
Headers will still add more power than that anyway...
